The term was used as Ionian "αμάρη/amari" in Iliad ( Φ, 259)  or as doric "αμάρα/amara" (Theocritus , 3ος cen BC, «"Idyll» 27,52)  

Definition


It is the  common cavity at the end of the digestive, reproductive, and urinary tracts  in some vertebrates.
